Nutritional Therapy & Functional Blood Chemistry Analysis

Founded upon the research of nutritional pioneers such as Dr. Weston A. Price and Dr. Mary Enig, the Nutritional Therapy Association teaches the importance of properly prepared, nutrient-dense foods for optimal physiological function. The goal of nutritional therapy is to address the root causes of your ailments and bring your body back into balance. I know there is no one-size-fits-all diet, and work with you to meet your individual needs. I also consider sleep, stress management, and movement, all of which are essential to well-being.

What makes me different?

Through an extensive Nutritional Assessment Questionnaire and Nutri-Q software, non-invasive, comprehensive functional evaluation, advanced muscle testing, food sensitivity testing, and functional blood chemistry analysis, I can determine your body’s unique imbalances and solutions to get better.

Nutritional Assessment Questionnaire

The 321-question Nutritional Assessment Questionnaire and Nutri-Q software program evaluate the following:

Upper Gastrointestinal Liver & Gallbladder Small Intestine Large Intestine
Mineral Needs Essential Fatty Acids Blood Sugar Handling Vitamin Needs
Adrenals Pituitary Thyroid Men’s Health
Women’s Health Cardiovascular Kidney & Bladder Immune System

Functional Evaluation & Advanced Muscle Testing

Our bodies have the ability to communicate organ and nutritional imbalances through neuro-lymphatic, neurovascular, and nutritional reflexes. These are known as the Chapman, Bennett, and Riddler reflexes, respectively.

Furthermore, each organ corresponds to a certain muscle or muscle group within the body. If an organ isn’t functioning properly, then the brain will have impaired communication with the corresponding muscle. The muscle will in turn have a weak response when tested for strength. Beneficial support, such as a healing nutritional supplement, will increase the strength of the muscle as the nervous system senses its therapeutic effect on the organ. Conversely, harmful stimuli (such as food sensitivities) can weaken the muscle by putting additional stress on the organ.

This is the basis of applied kinesiology; however, Inneractive Healing Systems also utilizes Autonomic Response Testing, Visceral Manipulation, Functional Neurology, and Aston Patterning to formulate a unique method of muscle testing that is more accurate and reliable than applied kinesiology alone. Using this system, we can determine which foods and supplements will help bring your body back into balance, and which won’t.

Functional Blood Chemistry Analysis

Conventional medicine diagnoses diseases using pathological ranges on blood tests. Typically, you are considered normal if you fall within the range, and abnormal if you do not.

In functional medicine, however, there are both pathological and functional ranges to reveal conditions that have not yet developed into full-blown diseases by conventional standards, but may be close. The functional range is much narrower, and determines where you should be for optimal health. For example, the conventional range for fasting blood glucose is 65-99 mg/dL; but in functional medicine, the range is 75-86 mg/dL. This means that you could have dysglycemia with a marker at 66 or 95 mg/dL, but would go undiagnosed by conventional standards.

In addition, functional blood chemistry analysis provides deeper insights into the underlying causes of your physiological imbalances. By examining many of the markers in combination, dysfunctions like viral infection, gastric inflammation, metabolic acidosis, adrenal insufficiency, gut dysbiosis, and more can be revealed.

Using Functional Blood Chemistry Analysis, I can provide you with different personalized reports based on your blood markers, which include:
